Synopsis: Cora de la Cruz is a Pinoy nurse who dreams of emigrating to the United States to have a better life. Bonifacio Santos plays the fiancé of Cora. 

Two characters come from Pampanga's lower class, and the plot takes place during the U.S. military forces in the Region. More specifically about the plot, Bonifacio intends to join the United States Navy while Cora plans and ideology after an American soldier kills her brother in the Philippines. She decided to live in the Philippines to get revenge for her brother. 

Situation: Cora de la Cruz is at home, wearing mourning clothes; while the officials explain that the soldier mistook her brother for a wild boar and killed him, it was only an accident.
